SCATI equips Togo's main port and centre for merchandise transfer on the West African coast, with its powerful SCATI VISION video recording platforms

SCATI News - Monday, 23 january, 2017

Lomé, the capital of Togo, is home to the country's main port, destined to strengthen Togo's important commercial role in the region. Located in the Gulf of Guinea, this is one of Western and Central Africa's few deep water ports, ideally situated to be the trans-shipment hub of the West African coast.

The country's port facilities are found in its Maritime Region, specifically in Lomé, the country's most populated city. In this coastal environment, temperatures during the day vary only slightly, contrary to the marked differences between night-time and daytime temperatures. These conditions require a robust security platform that provides users with complete control of the system to monitor the events in one of the primary points of merchandise entry into the country
