The high calculation power offered by the server analysis enables the use of more advanced analytics, alerting operators to potential threats, as well as providing greater reliability as the false alarm rate is minimised.
The video analysis is performed in a server that is independent from the other hardware elements in the system, which are normally subject to limitations. The use of dedicated servers increases processing capabilities, providing the power needed to apply highly advanced analytics.
The system enables the integration of diverse analytics, offering a perfectly adapted solution. The analytics for each camera are configured and run through SCATI WATCHER, thereby centralising operation of the system in just one interface. The analytics that can be run include: loitering, intrusion or line crossings, occupancy and queues, objects left or taken, tampering, counts, facial detection and recognition, licence plate recognition and heat maps.
Also, thanks to floating licences, you can choose the camera on which the analytics are to be executed and change this choice at a later date, using the same licence. Analysis licences are not connected to any video stream or hardware, so the analytics can be applied to any of the video streams, as is most convenient, without conflicts arising. In a similar fashion, the analytics can be executed independently in any server, adapting in the best possible way to the needs of the installation.
