SCATI awarded with the 2021 Export Award in the category of Extraordinary International Career Achievement Award
SCATI, a leading company in the development, manufacture and marketing of video surveillance systems, has been awarded with the Export Award 2021 in the category Extraordinary Award for International Trajectory.
The Export Award is an award granted by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Zaragoza which, in collaboration with JCV Shipping, Ibercaja and Cesce, recognizes since 1979 the internationalization of companies in the province of Zaragoza. These awards, which are held annually, aim to promote the spirit of internationalization of the business network and increase the volume of exports from Aragon.
With more than 20 years of experience in the electronic security market, SCATI has become a pioneer in the sector, specialized in offering complete and flexible solutions for projects where it is required to manage the security of large networks of facilities, developing intelligent video solutions that adapt to the needs of each client, the result of the development of proprietary software that incorporates the latest in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, the result of extensive R&D work.
Headquartered in Zaragoza, SCATI has subsidiaries in Mexico and Brazil with more than 15 employees between them, and is present in more than 30 countries thanks to the support of its network of Certified Partners. Its main customers are in sectors such as banking, logistics, industry and hotels, and its goal is to reach more and more markets. In fact, in 2022 it is beginning its foray into the US market and has signed an agency contract with a Southeast Asian company for all countries in the region. Another of the territories in which they plan to expand their market is the French-speaking part of Africa, in addition to strengthening their commercial relationship with their partner in Egypt and intensifying commercial actions in the Middle East, Central America and the Caribbean.
These awards value the track record of each company, its work in opening markets, attendance at international fairs and trade missions, exports during the last three years and the weight of foreign sales in its turnover. With more than 40 years of experience, the Zaragoza Chamber of Commerce awards are the longest running business distinction in Aragon.
On May 26th, the Awards Ceremony took place at the Zaragoza Chamber of Commerce. Euronix Sport, Grupo Foticos and Latexco were also awarded in the categories of small, medium and large companies, respectively.

Alfonso Gil, President of SCATI, received the award and highlighted the high level of the other award winners. “For SCATI, this award means the enhancement of a business idea that was born with this international vocation 25 years ago and that has been consolidated thanks to each and every one of the professionals who are part of the company, and to the decision and will of all its partners,” he said when accepting the award.
