N400, the new SCATI VISION video recorder

N400, the new SCATI VISION video recorder

The N400 recorder is the ultimate in security for small installations.

The N400 recorder is a recorder based on IP technology that is part of SSCATI’s VISION SUITE. Specifically, these devices are small NVRs, ideal for small installations that do not require more than 4 cameras.

It has a highly compact format, an efficient heat dissipation design (fanless technology) and the absence of ventilation elements, which make it silent, robust and perfect for installation in an ATM.

These Linux-based devices are part of a fully scalable solution and are designed to work with any ONVIF camera, being able to manage up to 3 megapixel cameras with total stability.

The main differentiating feature of these recorders is that they have 4 RJ-45 Gigabit PoE ports, allowing the cameras to be powered directly from the recorder. In addition, these recorders incorporate functionalities that allow continuous monitoring of their health and operation, notifying technical alarms in case of failure, which allows to extend the life of the devices and solve problems quickly.

As the recording needs are different for each project and each customer, using cameras of higher or lower resolution, having to record for longer or longer, continuously or by events, all SCATI VISION recorders allow configurable storage with disks specially manufactured for use in video surveillance.

In addition, the use of H.265 compression algorithms means that the images stored in the recorders require less storage (up to 40% less compared to other manufacturers using H.264) and that the transmission of images over the network can be carried out in a much lighter and smoother way.

Advanced factories

Code: VCWPU

SCATI will present its main video solutions for Industry 4.0:

SCATI PARCEL, traceability of goods. The video systems monitor and record the production processes so that the user can visualize the routes, perform searches by the data of interest associated with the goods, and locate the exact moment in which the incident originated through a quick and direct access to a visual check of the recorded video.

SCATI TRACKER. Tracking of mobile assets. Through SCATI TRACKER, any mobile asset is located and visualized in real time and automatic warnings are received in case they invade a restricted or dangerous area. In addition, it allows to obtain statistics and information on each asset to measure its productivity, its level of activity and speed and even to know distances, areas traveled and even the average time spent per area.

SCATI MOBILE. On-board video surveillance.

Monitoring of vehicle fleets through on-board video systems.

SCATI THERMOGRAPHY. The incorporation of thermography in video systems offers multiple applications of use: perimeter protection, fire detection and prevention, temperature control in industrial processes, body temperature measurement.

SCATI RECKON, Operational Intelligence. Video cameras visualize and monitor any process, but also collect the metadata associated with the images. This data is transformed into useful information by our Operational Intelligence software that facilitates decision making.

On the other hand, Rubén de Abuín will give a talk entitled “Achieving operational intelligence in Industry 4.0 with industrial vision” in which he will discuss the advantages of video technology in these scenarios. The talk will take place on Tuesday, April 18 at the Factory Innovation Theatre at 11 am.
